Julie Ann was born in England. She worked internationally for thirteen years as a British-trained nanny before emigrating to Canada in 1988 and became a Canadian citizen ten years later. Julie Ann first began working at Calgary Montessori School as an assistant in 1998 and subsequently completed the St. Nicholas Montessori Certification in 2003. Julie Ann is married with one son, and enjoys spending her free time with her family travelling, skiing, hiking, camping and playing board games.
