Juan, her husband and 14 year old son immigrated from China five years ago. They lived in Saskatchewan for a short period of time then moved to British Columbia to further her education. She completed her AMI Primary training at the Montessori Training Centre of British Columbia in summer of 2022. Her family moved to Calgary soon after her graduation and started her career at the Calgary Montessori School where she got to know so many professional and passionate Montessorians. She chose to become a Montessori educator because she enjoys working with children and highly agree with Dr. Montessori’s philosophy of education. Hiking and camping are her favorite outdoor activities and she is happy that Calgary provides a perfect environment with a variety of choices for outdoor enthusiasts. She also enjoys playing the traditional musical instrument, Guzheng (also called Chinese Zither).
