Jacqueline Garrick is originally from Jamaica having moved to Calgary over twenty years ago. Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Education degree, her Alberta Teaching certificate, Child Psychology certificate, Business Administration diploma and Montessori certification. Jacqueline worked in corporate Canada for over ten years and left in 2017 to continue her passion for teaching having taught in Jamaica before migrating. She worked in various Montessori daycares and fell in love with the philosophy and decided to embrace it. In 2023, she completed a Montessori diploma through Montessori Teachers College. Jacqueline has also worked with children with learning disabilities, Autism and behavioural problems. In her spare time she loves to read, attend church and travel. Jacqueline's pedagogy is shaped around the idea that all students are capable and deserving of equal opportunities in education.
